Introduction to Navigation Workshop
“Every confident walker started exactly where you are — unsure, curious, and ready to learn.”
A gentle, confidence‑building introduction to map reading and navigation for women who want to feel more comfortable outdoors. Whether you walk with friends, join group hikes, or enjoy exploring on your own, this workshop gives you the simple skills to understand where you are, where you’re going, and what to look out for.
We begin indoors with a warm drink at Black Rock Coffi in Betws‑y‑Coed, learning key basics in a relaxed, friendly space. Then we head out into easy, lowland terrain to practise spotting features, using a compass and building confidence step by step.
This is a calm, practical session designed for real beginners — even if you’ve always felt unsure about directions or rely on your phone.
